About Alexander Vineyard
Alexander Vineyard is a small family owned and operated estate specialising in the production of truly handcrafted premium wines that combines the outstanding grape-growing climate of New Zealand with a European winemaking heritage to offer ‘the best of both worlds in a glass’.
Our philosophy in the winery is one of guidance rather than manipulation of the winemaking process. This includes use of wild yeast ferments and gentle basket pressing of fruit, followed by careful barrel selection and blending, to produce gold medal-winning wines of depth, elegance and complexity, suitable for cellaring.
Open Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 12 and 4pm, from Labour weekend in October until vintage in March, or by appointment.
